Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Compensation: $120,000 - $135,000

This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned professional capable of enhancing our financial performance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, rigorous analytical skills, and a hands-on approach to financial management and reporting.

Objectives of this role

• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior controller by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
• Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Provide financial support to restructuring process.
• Develop financial reporting.
• Manage audit and tax preparation with public accounting partners.

Responsibilities

• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislation.
• Manage consolidation and financial reporting.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Establish (in coordination with Group CFO) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Experience with US GAAP
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
• Experience in streamlining accounting processes.
• Exemplary history of financial project management

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance
• Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
• Experience with companies of $25-$75M revenues, or startups.
• Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant) desired
• Public Accounting Experience a plus
