Therapist – Physical Therapist

Job Summary:

Provide specialized physical therapy services to patients within a busy hospital setting, focusing on evaluations, therapeutic treatments, gait training, and functional exercises. Collaborate with a cohesive team to deliver high-quality patient care and promote recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function.
• Perform gait training using walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately within Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced environment and learn new procedures efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting.
• Be able to quickly learn Meditech documentation system.
• Prefer previous travel therapy experience and ability to work independently.
• Maintain professional appearance in designated scrubs.
