- Maintain a friendly, helpful, and positive manner when dealing with Guests and fellow employees
- Anticipate Guests’ needs and concerns. Respond promptly and follow up accordingly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitors special requests and oversees rate changes and room moves to ensure Guests' satisfaction
- Review daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and assist in planning effective solutions to best expedite these situations
- Always maintain and encourage a professional atmosphere (Conversations, tone, demeanor, uniforms, etc.)
- Manage the ongoing training and development of front office staff
- Monitor staff’s interaction with Guests and ensure prompt and courteous service
- Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel's inner workings, including room rates, room operations, hotel policies, availability, and profitability strategies
- Knowledgeable about the entire property, including all scheduled activities, group functions, food and beverage outlets, entertainment, and hours of operation of all activities, events, and outlets.
- Runs shift on the Front Desk when necessary
- Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts, otherwise negotiating with others.
- Supervising staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
- Understands the impact of department operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed goals.
- 5+ years of experience in the hospitality field, preferably in a full-service hotel
- Proven track record of managing a team in a hospitality or hotel management role
- Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
