Hotel Housekeeping
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at The Garden Hotel & Resort in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas according to hotel standards
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed
- Dust furniture, vacuum floors, mop floors, clean and disinfect surfaces, and remove trash
- Replenish room amenities, such as water, coffee, and tea
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost and found items to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures
- Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- Adhere to the hotel’s policies regarding privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Able to lift, bend, stand, and move for extended periods
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English communication skills
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per workday)
- Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching to manage supplies and assist staff
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., linen, amenities, equipment)

Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays is essential, as scheduling will depend on business needs. This position may require evening availability. Adaptability is key in a hospitality environment
