Human Resources Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Align business objectives with all levels of employees
• Drive/support change management initiatives in an assigned territory
• Maintain business partnerships and deliver value-added service
• Cultivates a collaborative environment with business partners
• Participates and leads regular meetings with business leaders
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and partners with legal department
• Represents the company for unemployment claims
• Provides performance management guidance and employee relations expertise
• Develop recruitment strategies and manage job postings using HRIS
• Communicates benefits offerings to employees
• Manage HR-related projects

• 3-5 years progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner environment
• Associate’s degree or completion of SHRM certification within the first year in the position
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related degree preferred
• SHRM or PHR certification preferred
• Experience working with Unions preferred
• Working knowledge in HRIS systems, UKG preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
