Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic with prior healthcare setting experience to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our Elders at John Knox Village. This is a Full-Time position, Monday-Friday. It offers an exciting and dynamic work environment for a self-motivated individual to handle various projects and assignments around the campus.
As a Mechanic at John Knox Village, your responsibilities include performing preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on all facility systems and equipment, as well as initiating repairs as needed. You will also be responsible for completing and maintaining AHCA documentation and facilities Task List monthly.
Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of maintenance and operations experience, preferably in a healthcare facility with AHCA knowledge. A working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, HVAC, plumbing, sewage, and other systems is required, along with familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
