Production Team Manager – Screen Printing | Direct-to-Film; DTF

We are a high-volume decorated apparel company based in Pompano Beach, Florida, producing and shipping thousands of custom orders daily. Our in-house capabilities include Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, screen printing, stitch-on-demand embroidery, and print-on-demand fulfillment. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Team Manager – Screen Printing & Direct-to-Film (DTF) to lead our production floor. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations across the Screen Printing and DTF departments, ensuring output targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of decorated apparel production, proven leadership experience, and the ability to identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks in a high-volume setting.

• Lead, manage, and develop production staff to ensure high performance and accountability as a Production Team Manager – Screen Printing & Direct-to-Film (DTF)
• Oversee daily production output to meet order volume targets for DTF and screen printing
• Schedule and supervise operators, film cutters, and quality control personnel
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventative maintenance for DTF printers and screen printing presses
• Track and analyze key production metrics, including daily output, order completion rates, reprints, and throughput
• Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks across printing, curing, cutting, and packing processes
• Collaborate with art and customer service teams to ensure orders are production-ready
• Optimize gang sheet layouts and print queues to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before moving to packing and shipping
• Train, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance, quality, and attendance
• Report daily production results to leadership and proactively flag potential delays or issues

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a production management role within printing or a related manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with DTF printing, screen printing, or both
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams of 10+ employees
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow optimization
• Ability to analyze production data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
