Material Handler (3rd Shift)
Your Mission
As a Material Handler - 3rd Shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am), you will ensure the efficient, timely, and damage-free movement and storage of materials throughout the production process, enabling the seamless manufacturing of products according to schedule. You will also ensure that parts are handled and stored in a manner that prevents damage.
How you will make a difference
- Keeps Production on Track:
By staging work centers and moving materials efficiently, they prevent delays and ensure operators are never waiting, keeping manufacturing aligned with schedule. - Protects Product Quality:
Careful handling and storage of parts minimizes damage, reducing waste and rework. - Supports Team Efficiency:
Accurate paperwork and quantity checks help avoid bottlenecks and confusion, allowing production teams to focus on their tasks. - Drives Safety and Organization:
Following safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized carts contributes to a safer, more productive environment. - Maximizes Resource Use:
Smart use of software and equipment ensures materials are moved with precision and purpose.
What you should be good at
- Understanding Manufacturing Operations:
You should be familiar with how materials flow through production, inventory systems, and basic warehouse procedures. - Basic Computer Literacy:
You'll need to navigate inventory software, input data, and possibly use email or spreadsheets. - Clear Communication in English:
Reading instructions, writing reports or logs, and speaking with team members-all require solid English skills.

Read, write, and converse clearly in English. - Math
Skills:
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using both English and Metric units. Convert between measurement systems accurately. - Reasoning & Problem Solving:
Follow written and verbal instructions. Use common sense to solve simple, standardized problems. - Physical Capability Stand, walk, lift/move up to 50 pounds. Safely work around moving mechanical parts.
