The main responsibilities of the Injection Molding Operator are to perform all manufacturing tasks in the injection molding area following established procedures, which includes documentation and guidelines. Inspecting injection molding product to ensure quality standards and specifications are consistently met. Must adhere to all safety guidelines. Follow all instructions and be willing to learn new manufacturing techniques. Positive attitude and good attendance is a must.
Must be able to train new employees.
Job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Documentation
- Open and close work orders
- Data entry
- Knowledge of IMI product
- Identify common injection molding defects
- Provide solutions to profit and quality gaps
- On the job training of new employees
Required Qualifications
Must possess excellent communication. Must be alert, able to concentrate, and use good judgment. Majority of the time spent standing and walking. Occasional bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting. Moderate physical effort required, equivalent to lifting 25 or moving up to 100 pounds.
Work EnvironmentWill work on a normally acceptable production floor or warehouse with no abnormal hazards or risks. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.
