Blending Operator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-minded professional to join our operations team as a Blending Operator. In this role, you will help ensure ingredients, materials, or components are accurately measured, mixed, and prepared according to established specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, follows procedures carefully, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Set up, operate, and monitor blending equipment and related production machinery.
• Measure, weigh, and combine ingredients or materials according to formulas, batch sheets, and work instructions.
• Verify product specifications, lot numbers, and raw materials before processing.
• Inspect batches for quality, consistency, and compliance with established standards.
• Document production data, process steps, material usage, and any deviations accurately.
• Perform equipment checks, basic troubleshooting, and routine cleaning to maintain safe operation.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and regulatory procedures at all times.
• Communicate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel regarding production status and issues.
• Assist with material handling, staging, and inventory organization as needed.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, chemical production, or a related environment.
• Ability to read and follow formulas, instructions, and production documentation with accuracy.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with measuring tools, scales, and production equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials as required by the role.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

This position is typically performed in a manufacturing or production setting and may involve standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and following strict safety and cleanliness standards. Shift work, overtime, or weekend hours may be required depending on production needs.
