We are currently looking for a RN Registered Nurse for a residential program in Pompano Beach FL that is operated exclusively for the State of Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.

The RN provides professional nursing care to patient/students by utilizing the nursing process and assists in implementing direct daily care of clients.

• Helps to develop an individualized treatment plan in conjunction with patient/student, family and multidisciplinary team.
• Identifies short and long term measurable goals, including discharge planning, consistent with patient/student care standards, nursing practice, and policies and procedures.
• Assesses patient/students upon admission and throughout hospitalization utilizing observational and interviewing skills.

Current state of Florida residency. Must have current registered nursing license by the State of Florida Board of Nursing. Preferred adolescent or children experience in a mental health field, but not required. Ability to read and write at a high school graduate level, analytical skills, time management, problem-solving skills, organizational skills. Weekends are a must and some days during the week, we also offer Daily Pay after your first week.
