Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Description:
The Electrophysiology/Cath Lab RN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, scrubbing and assisting with various electrophysiology and catheterization procedures. This role requires a strong clinical skill set and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist in electrophysiology and catheterization procedures including pacemaker insertions, ablations, and more.
- Monitor patient vital signs and maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Utilize appropriate equipment and technology effectively, including GE and ESI systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care using Meditech and Mac Lab systems.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license.
- ACLS and EKG training required.
- Experience in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures in an acute care setting is essential.
