RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

This position is located in a Cath Lab that includes:

• Number of Beds: 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab
• Type of Staff:
  Combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, a Department Assistant, a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and a Manager
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, with 3 staff per room for most procedures and 4 staff for VT Ablation
• Type of Equipment: GE, ESI
• Documentation System:
  Meditech, Mac Lab

This role requires availability for four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Current ACLS and EKG training
• Previous experience in scrubbing all procedures in Electrophysiology within an acute care setting is essential

The unit commonly performs the following procedures:

• Pacemakers of all types
• Ablations of all types
• Watchman procedures
• Cryoablation

Scrubs are provided by the facility; scrub color will be designated by the employer.

While not mandatory, the following attributes are preferred:

• Previous travel experience (preferred)
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced unit
• Ability to function well independently

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
