OVERVIEW
As a Food Expeditor, you will be responsible to ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and front of house staff, coordinating orders, checking dish accuracy, and maintaining timely service.
JOB DUTIES- Manage the flow of orders from waitstaff to the kitchen, prioritizing tickets to ensure timely preparation.
- Inspect dishes for accuracy, temperature, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen.
- Assist with garnishing, plating, and finishing touches to enhance visual appeal.
- Serve as the main point of contact between kitchen staff and servers, relaying modifications, delays, or menu updates.
- Address complaints or special requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized expediting station, adhering to health and safety standards.
- May assist with food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS- Previous restaurant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of food presentation
