Job Description

• Deliver an exceptional and memorable customer experience by engaging with customers promptly and efficiently.
• Provide courteous checkout service by operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Handle cash transactions on the cash register with precision, including processing refunds, exchanges, and returns as needed.
• Advise customers on product selections and highlight promotions or complementary items to boost sales.
• Utilize pharmacy systems effectively to check the status of patient prescriptions.
• Report prescription errors promptly to the pharmacist and follow all company protocols to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store by maintaining counters, shelves, and inventory records, as well as checking in merchandise as directed.
• Implement effective asset protection strategies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to local regulations concerning the sale of age-restricted products such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Set up and maintain attractive merchandise displays and complete any necessary resets or revisions as directed.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of store systems and operational equipment.
• Contribute to the store's overall upkeep, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Follow all company policies and cultivate respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Completes additional tasks and special assignments as required.

• Participate in training sessions and complete required learning programs as directed by management.

• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer at least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior experience with Walgreens is a plus.
