Job Overview

As a Store Associate at Race Trac, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, helping keep our stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly.

Earn up to $17.50 per hour for select locations and shifts.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience: provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout, suggest additional products, and address guest concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized store: keep food and beverage items stocked and fresh, perform regular cleaning tasks, and keep the store interior and exterior welcoming.
• Support inventory management and restocking of shelves, coolers, and display areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments.
• Follow all safety, food‑safety, and chemical‑handling protocols.
• Assist with food preparation, service, and labeling in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the first point of contact for guest concerns, escalating to shift manager when needed.
• Maintain a team‑oriented, respectful work environment and assist teammates as required.

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food‑handler or alcohol‑server permits, depending on state/local regulations.
