Position Summary – Florida Sales Representative

SGM, Inc. is seeking a motivated and results‑oriented Sales Representative to manage and grow business throughout the Florida market. This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and industry professionals while driving territory sales growth and expanding market presence.
The ideal candidate will serve as the regional product expert, providing hands‑on product training, supporting new product launches, conducting presentations, and promoting marketing initiatives. This individual will identify new business opportunities, maintain existing customer relationships, and communicate the value and performance advantages of SGM products.
Additional responsibilities include managing customer service concerns, maintaining accurate CRM records, preparing bi‑monthly activity reports, and delivering sales forecasts. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading manufacturers in the pool and construction materials industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, and builders throughout the assigned territory
- Drive territory sales growth through business development and account management strategies
- Serve as the regional expert on SGM products and systems
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training sessions
- Support new product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives
- Educate customers on product features, installation methods, and cost‑saving benefits
- Resolve customer service issues in a professional and timely manner
- Track customer activity, pipeline development, and sales performance using CRM software
- Prepare regular sales activity reports and territory forecasts
- Identify market trends and new growth opportunities within the region
- Proven experience in sales, territory management, or business development
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships
- Experience analyzing markets and identifying growth opportunities
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Experience in tile installation, construction materials, building products, pool products, or related industries is highly desirable
