We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent overall experience. Responsibilities include processing payments, writing up orders in Quick Books, organizing samples, performing light to heavy lifting, and maintaining the store’s appearance.

The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience

This role offers a competitive salary plus commission, with commission earned by meeting or exceeding sales goals

• Greet every client warmly and provide attentive assistance throughout their shopping experience
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Understand and explain the differences between floor and wall tiles
• Write up and process client orders accurately using Quick Books
• Calculate quantities, square footage, and pricing to ensure accurate orders
• Process payments via cash, credit card, or check
• Issue receipts accurately and efficiently
• Maintain store cleanliness, both inside and outside
• Organize and restock samples and inventory
• Support sales efforts by participating in promotions and company initiatives
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals to qualify for commission
• Work collaboratively as a team player to support daily operations and store goals
• Build and maintain strong product knowledge to assist clients effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, count, and communicate clearly
• Strong math skills required (including measurements, square footage calculations, and pricing)
• Understanding of service principles and sales techniques
• Experience with Quick Books (preferred)
• Strong teamwork skills; must be a team player
• Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet goals and earn commission
• Ability to engage clients and confidently close sales
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
