Inside Sales Representative – Pompano Beach, FL

Industrial Hose & Hydraulics is seeking energetic individuals to join our headquarters as an Inside Sales Representative serving the Broward and Palm Beach counties territory. We work as a team from Sales Representatives and Service Technicians to managers and administrative staff.

• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, Internet Web sites, and other sources
• Talks with customers on sales floor or by phone
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes sellable features
• Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules
• Prepares reports of business transactions
• Inside sales representatives coordinate to keep account activities and literature up to date
• Tracks stock levels
• Coordinates customer training
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries

• Sales experience preferred but not necessary – willing to train the right individual on industrial needs within the marine and construction industries
• Ability to interface with top management in both our company and customers’ companies
• Goal oriented
• Ability to manage time and territory in an effective manner

Industrial Hose & Hydraulics is seeking energetic individuals to join our headquarters as an Outside Sales Representative serving the Broward and Palm Beach counties territory. We work as a team from Sales Representatives and Service Technicians to managers and administrative staff.

• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, Internet Web sites, and other sources
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes sellable features
• Quotes prices and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules
• Prepares reports of business transactions
• Sales representatives coordinate to keep account activities and literature up to date
• Tracks stock levels
• Coordinates customer training
