Security Officer
We are seeking a caring and friendly Security Officer at John Knox Village, a leading healthcare and life plan community located in Pompano Beach.
In this role, the selected candidate will greet Residents, Employees and Visitors in a warm, welcoming manner while guarding the entrance gates of the Village. This involves opening the gate to allow entrance or exit of Residents, Employees, and Vendors while checking credentials or approved roster before admitting entrance. There are additional duties and job requirements in this role that will be covered at the time of hire.
Responsibilities- Greet Residents, Employees, and Visitors in a warm, welcoming manner.
- Guard entrance gates and monitor entry/exit of Residents, Employees, and Vendors.
- Open gates and verify credentials or approved rosters before admitting entrance.
- Perform additional duties and requirements as covered at the time of hire.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of Security and Hospitality experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and note-taking skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and patrol for long periods of time.
