Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Entry Level Toll Equipment Technician to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of toll equipment systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is full time and onsite
, located in Pompano Beach, FL.
- Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test procedures
- Utilize tools like volt/amp meters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers
- Perform preventative maintenance and frequent inspections of equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and networking issues
- Configure toll equipment software and network devices
- Conduct daily site inspections of tolling equipment and systems
- Install, maintain, and monitor CCTV cameras and NVRs
- Assist with equipment installation and testing at tolling sites
- Work safely at heights up to 30 feet and lift up to 50 pounds
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and timely
- Knowledge of electronic systems and components
- Skilled in using technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)
- Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Valid Class E Driver’s License
- COMPTIA A+ Certification or equivalent
- Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification
- Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification
- Completion of a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$23 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
