Job Description
Hiring Commercial Electricians at all levels.
Looking for those with the abilityto travel for assignments throughout florida
Journeymen (Commercial electrician with a license or with the level of expected aptitude of a license-holding Journeymen).
Mechanics (Proficient and capable raceway installer (EMT, PVC/MC/GRC, etc, and wall rough)
Apprentice (Has and maintains personally all tools of trade, 1+ year relevant commercial on-the-job experience)
Helpers (Laborers/Those seeking to become apprentices)
Pay Rate Range: $17.00 an hour to $37+an hour(Helpers - JM/Leadman Foreman ). (Pay is based on skill level.)
Seeking as well as Project managers, Assistant Project Managers & Foreman submit a resume and have references available when inquiring about these positions.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints, circuit diagrams, and other technical documents.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning. This may require working from ladders, lifts, or scaffolds.
- Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools.
- Place conduit, pipes, or tubing inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas.
- Construct or fabricate parts using hand tools according to the specified requirements.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits or moving or lifting heavy objects.
- Inspect electrical units for loose connections and damaged insulation, and secure connections using hand tools.
- Must be reliable, responsible, take ownership and pride in one's work, as well as have integrity.
- Experienced Mechanics with at least 2 years of experience in single & three-phase power, and proper NEC code knowledge and installation.
- Journeymen and foremen with at least 5 years of experience in the position.
- Must be available to work on the job site, min 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, typical work site hours. 10-hour Shifts and weekends as scheduled and project determined.
- Reliable transportation to the JOB SITE.
- PPE and own basic tools required for the trade.
- Good attitude and works well with others.
- Job Type: Full-time. 8-hour shift + OVERTIME; 10-hour shift + OVERTIME.
- Travel Positions throughout the state.
