As an Installation Technician, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade a variety of sliding, swinging, and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

• Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers’ recommended procedures and specifications.
• Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing any problems, shortages, and inefficiencies in job‑site conditions.
• Perform all work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to yourself, co‑workers, contractors on‑site, and the general public.
• Wear and maintain any required Personal Protection Equipment.
• Perform planned maintenance, break‑fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro‑mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low‑voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, end‑users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
• Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
• Participate in on‑call rotations after certification and training.

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, positioning, and installing door components weighing up to 110 pounds (with lifting aids) occasionally.
• Climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required.

• 3‑5 years of direct industry experience in storefront door installation or related fields (glazing, aluminum frames, electrical, hardware).
• Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro‑mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low‑voltage (120 V) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.
