Marine Technician Apprentice

Position Summary

As a marine technician apprentice, you will work closely with experienced marine technicians to gain knowledge and skills necessary to perform maintenance, repair, and service on a variety of boats and other marine systems. The ideal candidate has a passion for boats and marine technology, looking to learn and grow in a hands‑on environment.

• Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in performing pre‑delivery inspections, maintenance, and boat refurbishments.
• Conduct diagnostics on boats systems to identify mechanical or electrical issues.
• Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and replace various boat parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Participate in training and workshops to further develop technical skills and knowledge.
• Offer support to team ensuring high customer satisfaction through quality work and excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Interest in the marine industry; willingness to learn.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some technical or mechanical training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic hand tools will be required.
