The Broward County Board of County Commissioners seeks a Utilities Mechanic for the Water & Wastewater Operations Division. The Utility Mechanic performs skilled work in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water and wastewater systems, lift stations, and related equipment.
Work includes completing daily work orders, operating and maintaining pumps and valves, and handling pipes, meters, hydrants, and associated machinery. Physical labor and confinement-space work are expected.
