Job Description

Moto Marine is seeking a skilled PWC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience working as a PWC (Jetski), Jetboat and Jet Tender technician and demonstrate a strong commitment to the quality and integrity of their work. Compensation will be determined based on experience.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends) on-site PWC Service Technician role based in Pompano Beach, FL. The technician will perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, fluid changes, minor adjustments, and scheduled service work on a variety of vessels.

Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, testing watercraft performance, and documenting work performed in service records. The role also involves interacting with customers to explain findings, provide service recommendations, and ensure a positive service experience. The technician will maintain a clean and safe workspace, follow shop procedures, and support other team members as needed to keep workflow efficient.

What We Are Looking For
  • Thorough understanding of personal watercraft PWC / Jetski, Jetboat, and Jet Tenders with essential electrical and electronic troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with major powersports brands, Seadoo, Yamaha, Scarab, Glastron, Chaparral, AB Jet, Williams Jet Tenders, Agilis Jet Tenders is preferred.
  • Certification from Yamaha, Kawasaki, BRP Sea-Doo, or Scarab is desirable.
  • General Maintenance skills, including the use of hand and power tools, adherence to maintenance schedules, and proper documentation of work.
  • Strong Maintenance & Repair skills with experience in routine service and component replacement on powersports or marine equipment.
  • Applicants must have their own set of tools.
  • Detail-oriented approach to work is required.
  • Preference given to non-smokers. Absolutely no drugs permitted.
  • Maintaining a Professional, clean and neat appearance is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, explain technical issues, and build trust with customers.
  • Field Service experience, including working on equipment in varying conditions and adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.
  • A positive work ethic and attitude are essential.
  • Proficiency is required in the following software platforms:
  • BUDS1
  • BUDS2
  • BUDS3
  • Vtech Maptuner
  • PSFlasher
  • KTAGv2
  • Perform service and repairs on Seadoo, Yamaha, Scarab, Glastron, Chaparral, AB Jet, Williams Jet Tenders, Agilis Jet Tenders is (PWC and Boats).
  • Accept assignments from the Service Writer/Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department to promptly request parts and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to write inspection reports, comprised of Photos, Video and explanation
  • Minimize repeat repairs by carefully completing all tasks properly the first time.
Requirements
  • Personal set of tools.
  • Vehicle with a tow hitch preferred
  • Reliable transportation to the Pompano Beach facility and willingness to work occasional weekends or extended hours during peak seasons.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, reach, stoop, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and push or balance units weighing up to 800 pounds.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment with appropriate safety practices.
