Field​/Mobile Diesel Technician

SERVICE TECHNICIAN - BUS & AUTOMOTIVE

Location: Pompano Beach, FL

Pay: $25-$40/Hour

Experience: Automotive, Diesel, Engine or Related Repair Experience

Our client is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair buses and other vehicles at customer facilities.

This is a hands‑on role for a mechanically skilled technician with strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and customer-service abilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair customer vehicles.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs on Blue Bird and other OEM buses.
• Complete retail and warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Troubleshoot defective mechanical equipment and systems.
• Respond to work orders and create accurate repair orders.
• Assist other technicians with complex repairs when needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Automotive, engine, diesel, or related repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding repair work.
• Ability to provide and maintain required tools.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

• Florida School Bus Inspector Certificate.
• ASE certification in bus or heavy truck repair.
• Diesel engine experience and current certifications.
• A/C diagnostic and repair experience.

• $25-$40/hour.
