Concurrent Real-Time, Inc. currently has an opening for a Full-Time Software Engineer(Red Hawk),locatedin our Pompano Beach, Florida office.

Must be a US citizen as we are unable to hire someone on a visa, permanent resident, or Green card.

This is not a remote position. Applicants must be able to work in our Pompano Beach, FL office.

We’relooking for a talentedSoftware Engineerto join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization ofrealtimeoperating systems, tools, and applications used across aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, and industrial sectors.

What You’llDo

• Design, develop, test, andoptimizesoftware forhighperformance,realtimeenvironments
• Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code inC/C++, along with scripting languages likePythonorBash
• Work closely with hardware, systems, and application engineering teams to integrate software with complexrealtimeplatforms
• Debug complex issues involving multithreading, scheduling, performance bottlenecks, andlowlevelsystem interactions
• Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Support customer-facing teamsontechnical questions, integration challenges, and performance tuning
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing and release

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science,Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong programming skills inC/C++
• Experience withLinux, including kernel concepts, real-time environments, or performance optimization
• Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, scheduling, and system-level software
• Experience with scripting languages such asPython,Bash, or similar
• Excellentproblemsolving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in acrossfunctionalengineering environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware interfaces
• Performance benchmarking and low-latency software experience
• Exposure to simulation, HIL testing, networking, or distributed systems
