Concurrent Real‑Time, Inc. currently has an opening for a Full‑Time Software Engineer (Red Hawk), located in our Pompano Beach, Florida office.

Must be a U.S. citizen; we are unable to hire someone on a visa, permanent resident, or green card.

This is not a remote position. Applicants must be able to work in our Pompano Beach, FL office.

Applicant must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

• Design, develop, test, and optimize software for high‑performance, real‑time environments.
• Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code in C/C++, along with scripting languages like Python or Bash
  .
• Work closely with hardware, systems, and application engineering teams to integrate software with complex real‑time platforms.
• Debug complex issues involving multithreading, scheduling, performance bottlenecks, and low‑level system interactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Support customer‑facing teams on technical questions, integration challenges, and performance tuning.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to testing and release.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
  , Electrical Engineering
  , Computer Engineering
  , or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience with Linux
  , including kernel concepts, real‑time environments, or performance optimization.
• Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, scheduling, and system‑level software.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  , Bash
  , or similar.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in an across‑functional engineering environment.

• Experience with real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with embedded systems or hardware interfaces.
• Performance benchmarking and low‑latency software experience.
• Exposure to simulation, HIL testing, networking, or distributed systems.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across software engineering, hardware engineering, QA, and customer support — all working to deliver mission‑critical real‑time technology to some of the world’s most demanding industries.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape high‑performance computing technologies used in aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, automotive simulation, robotics, and industrial automation. Your contributions will directly impact next‑generation real‑time platforms.
