Job Summary

Ryder is hiring a NON‑CDL Truck Driver in Pompano Beach, FL. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You’ll drive a stake or box truck with liftgate, loading electrical products and delivering within a 150‑mile radius on a local, home‑daily route.

• $1,116 or more per week
• Hourly: $23.50 per hour
• Hours per week: 45 + hours
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday
• Start time: 5:30 AM

• Safely operate the vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, customer service, and continuous training.
• Maintain accurate records, load/unload freight as needed.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Other job‑related tasks as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience, with specific experience as a straight or box truck:
  • 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience in the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience in the last 10 years
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Some positions require additional employment and education verification, motor vehicle records checks, background checks, and/or badging.

• Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days.
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1.
