Sun City has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of drivers as a Yard Jockey Driver for the Warehouse/Distribution Center in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for hard working individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

The Yard Jockey Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers between yard and warehouse dock doors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate mule to move cargo trailer
- Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of mule
- Ability to read and interpret operating and procedural manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Able to receive, understand, and execute instructions via radio to accommodate logistical needs
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) class A with clean record
- 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience
- Clean MVR
- Ability to meet all state and Federal DOT regulations
- Must be able to follow all company guidelines
- Must pass all drug/alcohol screenings
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck
- Ability to work independently with little supervision in a team environment
- Nearly all work is performed outdoors; must be able to perform duties in all weather conditions
- Use repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
- The position may require the driver to sit for prolonged periods of time while operating the mule
