Transport Driver – Ameri Gas Propane

Applications will be accepted until 07/07/2026.

• Drive an 11,400‑gallon tanker truck to pick up propane at supply points such as refineries, pipeline terminals, or storage facilities and deliver it to Ameri Gas facilities.
• Perform four to five pick‑ups and deliveries per day, driving an average of 500 miles per day and working up to 14 hours per day.
• Attach terminal hoses and pump propane into the tanker; unload through permanent or truck‑stored hoses.
• Conduct twice‑daily truck inspections and, when required, climb ladders to check gauges on bulk tanks.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and maintain vehicle and equipment in safe operating condition.

Pay ranges from $0.7283 per mile to $0.7383 per mile. Flat on‑duty non‑driving hourly wage ranges $23.87 to $24.87, with potential performance‑based bonus or commissions.

• 3 years of tractor and trailer experience with a minimum of 200,000 miles.
• 1 year of tanker experience within the last 3 years (preferred).
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Eligible for a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
• No accidents in the previous 3 years.
• No more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years.
