Overview

Direct and coordinate the dedicated delivery operations at the distribution center, supervising delivery drivers, managing routes, ensuring DOT and Hazardous Material compliance, and overseeing fleet maintenance.

• Lead, direct, and train the delivery driver team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hazmat, and DOT requirements.
• Manage routes to achieve cost‑efficient delivery operations.
• Oversee routine vehicle inspections and maintain proper records.
• Coach and develop delivery drivers, including accompanying drivers on routes for evaluation.

• Works primarily in a comfortable environment but may be exposed to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, standing for periods up to and exceeding 60 minutes, and making repetitive movements such as using a 10‑key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
• Travel may be required overnight less than 10% of the time.

• Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
• Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field; certification may be required.
• Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
