Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Pompano Beach, FL— offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay and schedule:

• Weekly pay: $1,700 or more per week
• Hourly rate: $25.00 per hour
• Hours per week: 40+ hours (Monday–Friday; occasional weekends)
• Per diem: $50.00 per night out
• Shift: AM some weeks / PM some weeks depending on account

Deliver to: SOLO to FL & GA

• Tractor type:
  Day Cab / Sleeper, manual only
• Trailer types: 26' Box Truck, 53' Dry Van, Flatbed
• Freight:
  Touch & No Touch – General Freight
• Equipment handling:
  Forklift, Pallet Jack, Moffett

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verified experience: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within past 5 years, or 5 years within past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
