Parts Authority carries major brands for domestic and import vehicles. Brands include AC Delco, Motorcraft, Denso, Bosch, KYB, Monroe, Gates, Dorman and Exide among others, with partnerships with more than 400 suppliers globally. We are expanding and inviting candidates to join the Parts Authority Team as a Box Truck Driver.

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, accurate charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor gauges and indicators to ensure the bobtail truck is functioning properly.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to assigned routes, maintain time schedules, use route navigation apps, and select alternative routes when necessary to deliver packages on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without disrupting customer operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices and return forms, reconcile debt and credit, and manage money collected for deliveries.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicle when applicable and report issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with other store/warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned and promote workplace safety.
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets as required.

• Current, valid driver’s license
• Able to work weekends
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable Class C Bobtail truck driving experience
• Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over)
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
• Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds; for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers, ability to lift 75 lbs

• Ability to manage, track and reconcile money transactions and balances
• Ability to use a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer signature capture
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, professional and polite, with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to take directions and work well as part of a team
• Flexible schedule with overtime as needed
• Knowledge of moving freight and materials
• Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and local, state and national laws
• Knowledge of applicable laws, EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations
• Knowledge of identifying potential safety risks ahead of time
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
