The Warehouse Receiver will assist with overall warehouse operational functions. This includes planning and daily activities such as receiving and stowing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. The role requires monitoring the safety and security of goods and ensuring accuracy of all stock to maintain high performance of the warehouse storage. It utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource planning system (ERP), or other databases to track, analyze, and report processes and performance.

• Receive shipments from freight lines, UPS, and Fed Ex.
• Open all shipments to confirm product received and accurate repackage for storage.
• Process backup paperwork and track incoming shipments on purchase logs.
• Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
• Train other employees.
• Label all incoming parts.
• Store all incoming parts in proper location.
• Receive all transfer parts; update transfer log.
• Process outgoing orders at times.
• Pack all transfer parts, generate and process paperwork, and maintain log.
• Review daily PO schedule with manager.
• Assist with month end inventory count, prepare warehouse for inventory—clean, sort, and ensure parts are labeled properly for the cycle count.
• Place orders for parts as directed by manager and follow up on all orders until received.
• Receive all returned parts from customers, follow up on parts being sent back to vendors, and work closely with the manager on the entire process.
• Work closely with Warehouse Management to troubleshoot and solve receiving and inventory problems.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• Two-year (or more) shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience required. Factory-specific experience is a plus.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be able to bend and/or stand for up to 8 hours.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Prior work experience with a WMS or similar system preferred.
