Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate II will assist in the offloading, receiving, shipping, storage and distribution of products in a warehouse environment. Daily tasks involve bar‑code scan applications that record movement, receipt, and status changes to inventory. Timely and efficient completion of job duties are critical, as is safely operating industrial power equipment such as a forklift and cherry picker.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, transport and store inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers; including physical lifting, movement by powered and manual lift, and material handling equipment.
  • Accurately place and stack stock for storage in designated areas, recording the stock location into the proprietary inventory system.
  • Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound product from storage areas to shipping lanes for distribution. Must match serialized product to orders and update the proprietary system.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly or monthly as required to meet compliance.
  • Perform other duties as required by management, including product preparation, reuse or recycling, 5S responsibilities, mandatory training and committee participation.
  • Use heavy industrial power equipment and comply with fall protection protocols; the role requires lifting items up to 350 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and comply with all safety regulations.
Scope & Impact

Performance of the tasks outlined is essential to the daily operation of the RDC. Meeting outbound task time frames is critical to meet commitments to customers, dealer partners, delivery providers, and shareholders. Accurate receipt and stocking of inbound product impacts inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping, and/or storage of goods.
  • Forklift certification required; experience using a cherry picker is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to move heavy items up to 350 lbs for several hours consecutively when pulling and putting away furniture.
Preferred Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping, and delivery procedures.
  • Understanding of internal control procedures for receiving product against purchase orders and packing slips and actions to reconcile.
Physical Demands / Work Environment

Often required to sit, repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, balance, reach overhead, crawl, push and lift up to 350 lbs; sometimes required to climb stairs or ladders. Not required to shovel.

Weekly Hours

40 hours per week.
