Position Overview
We are looking for a Full‑Time Teller Lead to join PNC’s Northwest Region Retail Banking organization in Pompton Plains, NJ. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while coaching and leading teller teams.
Job DescriptionThe Teller Lead will coach, mentor, and supervise tellers, ensuring high quality customer interactions and compliance with policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead teller activities and provide coaching on customer service, financial product knowledge, and operational procedures.
- Identify sales and cross‑sell opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers.
- Engage customers in the lobby to promote PNC products and educate them about digital tools.
- Handle transaction processing, problem resolution, and daily branch operations accurately and efficiently.
- Assist Branch Manager in performance management, new‑hire selection, and maintaining operational excellence.
- Adhere to all policies and risk management guidelines, exercising sound judgment within established limits.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00. Salary may vary based on location, market data, and individual qualifications. The role is incentive eligible.
