Responsibilities- Assisting patients with activities of daily living
- Obtaining and recording vital signs, weights and heights
- Assisting patients with mobility: ambulation, transfer, discharges and ROM activities
- Performing post mortem care
- Measuring and recording input and output (I & O)
- Performing EKGs, phlebotomy and blood glucose monitoring
- Observing and reporting changes in patients’ condition to the RN
- Maintaining phlebotomy equipment and inventory; performing other related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS required within 3 months of hire
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with other members of the Care Center
- 6 months prior acute care experience strongly preferred
- CNA or CPCT strongly preferred
