About the Position
Atlantic Health is seeking an advanced practice professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide support to Breast Surgery services at Atlantic Breast Associates. This is a full‑time, day‑only position with no call or weekend duties.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the surgical team and perform all aspects of outpatient surgical patient care.
- Communicate with patients and conduct outpatient consultations.
- Perform wound care, aspirations, and punch biopsies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Serve as a team player while working independently as needed.
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
- Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification preferred.
- One to two years of oncology or breast surgery experience preferred.
- Ophthalmologic review (OR) experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Strong work ethic and a team‑player attitude.
