About the Position

Atlantic Health is seeking an advanced practice professional (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide support to Breast Surgery services at Atlantic Breast Associates. This is a full‑time, day‑only position with no call or weekend duties.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the surgical team and perform all aspects of outpatient surgical patient care.
  • Communicate with patients and conduct outpatient consultations.
  • Perform wound care, aspirations, and punch biopsies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Serve as a team player while working independently as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
  • ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification preferred.
  • One to two years of oncology or breast surgery experience preferred.
  • Ophthalmologic review (OR) experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic and a team‑player attitude.
