Inventory & Warehouse Leader

Overview

At Precision Garage Door, we are dedicated to providing top-quality garage door services and products. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Inventory and Warehouse Leader to support our busy operations.

• The NJ Inventory and Warehouse Lead is responsible for the maintenance and organization of the Company’s Warehouse and Facilities. The Warehouse Associate will maintain inventory integrity through receiving, shipping, stock counts, etc.
• Assist the Technicians and Installers with jobs by helping to load and stock their trucks.
• Keep the warehouse and facilities clean, organized, and stocked whenever necessary.
• Transport materials, tools, and supplies between company warehouses.
• Proficient in computer skills to learn and use the current ERP system, Service Titan.
• Excellent computer skills in Google Docs.
• Possibility of travel up to 5% for acquisition inventory.
• Knowledge of purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement within the purchasing job.
• Perform door pickups at the manufacturers (CHI, Amarr).
• Coordinate with the inventory, warehouse, door, and scheduling teams to ensure items are ordered in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
• Work with AP on discrepancies in invoicing as it pertains to POs and receipts.
• Coordinate and manage annual inventory counts for warehouses and vehicles.
• Coordinate and manage offboarding counts and reconciliation for vehicles in the markets.
• Work with managers to process inventory before and after acquisitions are completed, including travel to acquisition sites.
• Assess and improve supply flows through the area markets for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Identify and address gaps in inventory processes. Create procedures to maintain accuracy in inventories across all locations.
• Create templates and calendars for cycle counting and annual inventory as needed.
• Train new employees on inventory processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must pass drug test, background check and motor vehicle check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license
• Proper maintenance of scheduled services and vehicle cleanliness
• Knowledge of computers and tablet use
• Knowledge of Google search and navigation systems is a plus
• Knowledge of hand tools, mechanical tools, and garage door experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work full day and beyond when needed
• GED, High School Diploma, or suitable equivalent
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

• $24-$26/hr depending on experience
• Bonus eligible — quarterly bonus based on company performance
• Year-end discretionary annual bonus based on company performance

• Monday–Friday 6:00am–3:00pm with 30 minute lunch
• Weekend availability when needed
