Drafter Ii

This position is for a contract CAD Drafter. Typical hours are 8 hours a day Monday-Friday, OT possible. Pick up redlines from Designers in AutoCAD. Pick up redlines (Schematics & P&IDs) from MOCs to support Document Control. General AutoCAD work for Design Team.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in Drafting
• Worked in a similar capacity
• AutoCAD
• Basic computer/PC skills
• Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to function as part of a project team
• Able to interact and work with a diverse work group (Mechanical and/or I&E Designers, Engineers, Contractors)
• Basic knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Symbology

Desired

Qualifications:

• Worked in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
• Experience using Falcon
• Experience in SAP
• Associate Degree in Design, Drafting or Engineer Tech

Leadership:

• Work under the direction of Engineers and Designers
• Must be able to function with little supervision

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices
• Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
• Must be able to perform field walk downs
• Set up CAD environment including libraries and layers
• Use Ponca City Refinery's design standards and project procedures to create project drawings including the following but not limited to:
  Schematics / Isometrics, P&IDs, Building layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/pipe routing, Pipe schedules, Installation Details, Bill of Materials
