The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they create personalized, evidence‑based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high‑quality, safe patient care.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history.
- Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques.
- Operate specialized equipment and modalities safely and effectively.
- Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document evaluations and outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities.
- Collaborate in discharge planning for smooth transitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
- Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Doctorate degree in physical therapy.
- Physical Therapy experience; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Other relevant certifications or licenses.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; PC proficiency.
- Physical Abilities – ability to stand, move, lift equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend.
- Interpersonal Skills – positive attitude and professionalism when working with diverse personnel.
- Technical/Motor Skills – grasp, fine manipulation, and assist procedures.
- Mental Requirements – manage frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work independently or with supervision.
