Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday) with occasional weekends

This role partners closely with plant leadership to foster a proactive safety culture by identifying and eliminating hazards before incidents occur. The position supports the Safety Manager in implementing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Assist the Safety Manager in reviewing, revising, and implementing safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with plant operations and cross-functional teams to assess current work practices and recommend improvements to reduce risk.
• Support incident reporting and investigation processes, including root cause analysis, corrective action assignment, and follow-up to closure.
• Develop and deliver monthly plant safety training for all associates.
• Conduct specialized safety training and continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness.
• Perform routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with corporate safety programs and regulatory standards.
• Promote continuous improvement of site safety performance and culture.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (assembly, machine shop, or food manufacturing preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced facility.
• Previous experience or undergraduate degree in Safety, EHS, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong communication, training, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
