Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Pacmac Operator is responsible for monitoring the flow of product through the bagger and correcting product flow and making necessary maintenance and repairs when necessary.

Other duties may be assigned.

• Monitor product flow through the scale and bagger; when necessary manually sort product into the buckets of the scale.
• Observe and maintain proper film and zipper levels for continued production.
• Ensure proper bag weights and make necessary adjustments to Ishida scale.
• Ensure code dates are correct; make corrections/shut down the bagger and adjust code dates.
• Log and document all downtime appropriately.
• Responsible for Scheduled Preventative Maintenance.
• Responsible for all change overs and change over parts.
• Responsible for monitoring all film performance.
• Responsible for re order of parts.
• Responsible for daily set up and or tear down of machine.

• High school diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as stated above.
• Basic Mechanical experience/background preferred.
• Electrical Trouble shooting.

• The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
• Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
