POSITION
PURPOSE:
Compile and analyze basic information which is to be placed in reports, summaries, presentations, charts, graphs, or tables as necessary to support the Quality Assurance department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe scope of this position is to provide support to FSQS personnel ensuring product quality and food safety program compliance by compiling data and completing appropriate reports.
Communication- Ensure timely and appropriate communication with management teams by maintaining and sending out reports on supplied dates, ensuring compliance to regulatory, food safety and customer expectations.
- Send supplier complaints when product is outside of specification requirements.
- The clerk must be in their work area, ready to work at the posted start time.
- Maintain records and filing and the foreign material log.
- Send out accurate daily, weekly, bi‑weekly, and or monthly reports to management, suppliers and customers.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
QUALIFICATIONS- High School diploma required;
Degree preferred. - Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours in a day.
- May be required to stand for up to 2 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on occasion to move files or product.
- Some duties may be performed in a refrigerated manufacturing environment.
All associates are required to immediately report any injury, damage to equipment or facilities to their supervisor, superintendent or manager, and to work with management to identify and correct unsafe acts or working conditions. It is the responsibility of each associate to work under control and follow all established safety policies, rules, programs, and practices at all times. Lock‑out, tag‑out and confined space programs should be strictly adhered to.
