As a  
** Security Officer - Patrol Driver

** Ponca City, OK** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will spend much of your shift on the move, conducting vehicle patrols and routine checks of assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team.

You will also provide helpful customer service while supporting daily operations.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by site policy, and report irregularities to the appropriate contacts.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Complete detailed reports on patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift change briefings.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
