Maintenance Electrician

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Electrician role located in Ponca City, OK. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and electrical systems to minimize downtime and optimize production performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, following company safety procedures and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment failures and improve system reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and electrical repairs using the company’s CMMS system.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to emergency calls for equipment repairs during shift hours as needed.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or production setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and control panels.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on‑call as needed.
• Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the plant or be willing to relocate within 6 months of employment
