Maintenance Electrician
The primary purpose of the Maintenance Electrician is to maintain and repair all existing electrical systems and install or assist with installation of all new electrical systems, new equipment, facility repairs and upgrades. Other duties may be assigned.

- A thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, O.E.M. instructions and specifications.
- Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills and have a thorough understanding of:
Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams, electrical system layouts, electrical code, conduit routing, bending and the operation of manual, electric and hydraulic benders, wiring devices, Arc Flash and 70E regulations, basic industrial electrical troubleshooting. - Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to quickly prioritize service calls in order to minimize downtime.
- Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with operations in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
Education and/or experience High school diploma or GED required. 2 + years of experience as an electrical service technician or in an industrial repair environment with emphasis on electrical wiring and systems. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
