With this strategic decision, ZOLLERN North America is just beginning to establish its position by making substantial investments in team expansion and its Ponchatoula location. Currently, ZNA is a small company under the umbrella of a large international German "hidden champion," with ambitious growth plans and tremendous potential.
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts
- Prepare monthly and annual closing reports, including financial statements
- Generate weekly incoming order reports
- Prepare liquidity and cash-flow reports
- Process and manage all vendor invoices and payments
- Coordinate invoice follow-ups in collaboration with the Sales team
- Review and process employee expense reports
- Serve as the primary contact for general tax-related matters
- Collaborate closely with the external CPA
- Handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and intercompany transactions
- Analyze cost variances and provide explanations
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including balance sheets and income statements
- Prepare required tax documentation and filings
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Process and maintain payroll activities in ADP
- Administer and maintain 401k plans
- Manage health insurance and employee benefits records
- Oversee company insurance matters
- Manage customer credit insurance and related documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Several years of hands, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Practical experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger accounting
- Experience working with external CPAs and supporting audits
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Sage is an advantage
- Experience with ADP payroll systems
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret financial data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, HR, and external partners
